Beware of using an online-only Agent, it could cost you ££££'s!

It seems like we are constantly being bombarded with new, faceless online ‘estate agents’ boasting about low fees and how much money they can save you.

While it may be tempting to cut back on costs by going with the ‘cheaper’ option, let me explain why this can end up being a disastrous decision.

The truth is if you are marketing your home wouldn't you want more local eyes on it? How many Buyers could you be missing out on?

“Local property experts” are in some cases not local and can lack the knowledge of the area that an established high street agent has.

The problem? This can make it very difficult for them to accurately value your property.

And what could be more frustrating than selling your home for less than it’s actually worth?  

That leads me to the next problem. Online agents, as their name suggests, will they only market your house online?

Do they advertise in High Street Window displays? Do they use Paper advertising? 

This means they miss out on getting these properties in front of hundreds, if not thousands, of local potential buyers.

How many times have you been shopping on a Saturday afternoon and walked past the window of an estate agent and seen a picture of a beautiful house that catches your eye?
