I was pleasantly surprised by the courtesy, responsiveness, attention to detail and willingness to help on the part of the sales staff (in particular Nick and Brendan) from the outset. They understand what "going the extra mile" actually means, and this made the transaction so much easier than I had anticipated, as I was necessarily dealing with things from a distance.

We have just sold our property with Sansome and George and we have been so impressed with the service we have received. Our house was sold before it even went on the market thanks to buckets of enthusiasm and a positive attitude from Natalie. She has loads of creative ideas to improve sales prospects and her friendly down-to-earth approach has made all the difference!

And as the sale went through, we relied so much on Toni’s calm and professional service. She was friendly, proactive and persistent – her role is a vital service, which enabled the sale to be pushed through by the completion date. We would recommend selling through Sansome and George because they kept us informed throughout the process and always ensured that any queries we had were answered. We always like to support local businesses but the key reason we used a local family run estate agent was because we wanted personal customer service and that is exactly what we received. Every member of the team was willing to help us at every stage and liaised throughout the chain to ensure that our move went as smoothly as possible.

Dan came to view the property, of all the agents we had round, Dan was by far the most keen and eager to sell the house. There was no doubt he wanted the business, but also cared about doing right by us. Dan was confident from the word go, and his confidence was very quickly backed up with more than 15 quality viewing lined up. He had already sifted through the time wasters! The property sold very quick and we achieved the asking price. Without doubt. I am writing as we have just completed on the sale of what was our first home using Sansome and George as our agents.

As first time sellers who were also relocating half way across the country with two new jobs to contend with, it was safe to say we were dreading the entire process, particularly as buying the house as first time buyers was nothing short of horrendous- a different agent i may add!

What we actually experienced from the sale was completely different. There was not one moment of stress caused by the sale of the property and this is entirely thanks to Natalie in your Kingsclere branch.

From the moment Natalie came over to value the property we knew we needed her on board- the other agents didn’t come close. She was friendly, professional and knowledgeable with no undue sales pressure applied. Knowing we would likely sell to a first time buyer this was exactly what we needed to assist us but also make any potential buyers feel supported and therefore not pull out of the sale.

The process was quick, easy and stress free so a massive thank you to Natalie and the rest of your team from us. Your service was worth every penny.

The only shame is that S&G don’t cover Suffolk- the Suffolk agent certainly has a lot to live up to!

Back at the beginning of the summer 2016 my wife and I had decided that we wanted to downsize, this required us placing our current property on the market in Thatcham, the house we were looking to purchase sat within the Kingsclere catchment area and was on the market with Sansome and George (Kingsclere Branch)

We approached Natalie at the branch which enabled us to look around the property we wanted to buy, at this point our house wasn’t sold, the following conversation with Natalie was very positive and after discussions we placed our current property on the market with Sansome & George, from this moment on the communication we had with the office was all positive from arranging visits, Natalie and the team attending the visits with the potential buyers and then feedback was all very helpful to enable us to get to a point where and offer was made and  we sold our property which allowed us to place the formal offer on the new one.

The process between the offer accepted and moving in is always stressful so it would be wrong of me to say it wasn’t but Natalie and the team kept me informed all the way where we were in this even to the point where we exchanged whilst I was in the middle of the Mediterranean on a cruise, subsequently 8 days later we moved in.

I have nothing but praise for Sansome & George and would recoomend people talking to them before making a commitment to other agents.

Jenna, We just wanted to thank you for all the help and support with Selling our house. We have been here nearly 20 years and you have enabled us to move on without too much stress. We are really pleased to have you at the end of the phone and it didn't matter how small the problem you were reassuring and calming. You do your job really well and your customers are lucky to have you looking after them.

I bought my house from the Basingstoke office and dealt with Dan. He is a wonderful person who was very good and saw me through a difficult procedure, sorted out all the difficulties along the chain, kept me in touch all the way through and call with updates all the time, I never had to ring him.  He is a real gentleman and I can’t praise him enough, there was nothing he couldn’t do more if he tried.

After trying to sell our house through another local estate agent in Tadley and being very disappointed with their efforts, we approached you.  We were immediately struck with your positive attitude and your energy in describing how you would market our house.  You were obviously not going to stick it on Rightmove and wait by the phone.  We worried that since our house had been underpinned that would put people off.  You were honest with us, saying a certain percentage would be but many wouldn't.  You said you would be up-front with people viewing the house and explain to them the merits of a house being reinforced underground, whilst enjoying the benefits of a very green, tree-lined road.  That way the people viewing  wouldn't get this information after having put an offer in and then feel uneasy about the whole thing and withdraw.  You said it was about being honest from the start with the prospective buyer and we wholeheartedly agreed.  You got us a buyer at a very good price very quickly but unfortunately they messed us about as they did not have your ethics of honesty.  Something you were quite angry about.  As we headed towards the winter our spirits sank about selling the house and we considered renting it.  You advised us to drop the price by 10k which we agreed as we weren't getting the viewings.  You were obviously right,  as shortly after that we got an offer which we accepted.  The previous estate agent had valued our house at eleven thousand less than we actually got for it.  You said you would never have put it up for that low a price but since it had been, you were wary of advertising it for more.  We were adamant that it should be and so you did as we wished.  We believe your energy and hard work got us a price we were pleased to accept.  You were always happy to talk to us on the phone, answering our questions and reassuring us and generally having nice conversations.  If you were busy elsewhere, you always rang us back.  In fact it seemed to us that you don't just do your job, you enjoy it, which is probably the reason you do it so well.  We are only sorry that when we come to move from the house we are currently in, as it is so many miles away from Tadley, we won't be able to turn to you to sell it.  It's not usual to like an estate agent is it?  But we always felt better for talking to you.  Thank you so much for all your hard work and that of your staff at Sansome and George and our best wishes to you for your future.
