Sansome & George and Network Auctions close the year with another successful auction

Sansome & George and Network Auctions’ last sale of 2011 took place on 7th December at Hatfield House and saw a 85% success rate with seventeen of the twenty lots securing buyers at a combined value of £1.82million.

The auction saw lots on offer from fourteen different counties across the UK, reflecting Network Auctions position as a national auctioneer.

Five of the lots were snapped up by telephone bidders who were able to watch the auction live via the webcast on Network Auctions’ website and results were also posted live from the room on Twitter.

The December results ensured an overall success rate of 75% of lots offered were sold in 2011.

Guy Charrison, Network Auctions Director and auctioneer said: “The result was a pleasing one on which to end an excellent year which has seen the number of partner agents we work with increase to twenty five from across the UK.

In 2011 we also entered into a partnership with W1 Network Auctions in Scotland and look forward to running a number of auctions in Glasgow in 2012.

2012 will also see us moving from Hatfield House and conducting our auctions from Glaziers Hall overlooking the River Thames near London Bridge in Central London. This move will create even greater exposure for our partner agents and clients and we are all excited at the additional opportunities this will bring.”

Sansome & George and Network Auctions will be conducting auctions on 7th March, 3rd May, 4thJuly, 12th September, 1st November and 6th December 2012 and are already taking lots for inclusion.
